The Hodges University was founded in the year 1990 as an international college and has establishes itself as one of the premier private universities in the Florida state.
The university was given the name of Hodges in the year 2007 n order to honour a generous gift by Th      elma and Earl Hodges, who were the long- time residents of Naples and keen supporters of the institution.

The university is regionally accredited by with the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of colleges and schools and it offers associate, bachelors and master’s degree.
