The Scope of Education at Everest University Online

Everest University started in 1999 and at that time, offered 5 courses at two campuses. By the year 2000, Everest Expanded and gained approval to develop Online Business Administration Programs. By the year 2001, permission was granted to develop online courses in accounting as well as Criminal Justice. Ever since then, Everest has added more courses in the Associate Degree and the Bachelors Degree category.

Course Materials

All course material is built, developed and maintained on a specific platform called the eCollege Platform. The platform has highly effective course authoring tools and is extremely media intensive. It is mandatory for all instructors at Everest University to undergo an extensive course in Teacher Education. This course will help them prepare courses based on specific course construction guidelines.

Online Learning at Everest

Introduction

The Everest Online University primarily caters to Adult learners. These adult learners are not only paying their own way through college but are also managing busy professional and family lives. With online learning programs at Everest, these students will be able to learn the necessary skills required to further their careers.

Faculty

The faculty members at Everest are both experientially as well as academically sound and besides instruction, are required to preside over other matters such as student evaluation and grading. Most of the Instructors have Master’s degrees. A few of them have gone forward to earn PhDs as well.

Accreditation   

As a coeducational non-sectarian institution, the university has the authority to award Bachelor’s Degrees, Masters Degrees, Associate Degrees as well as Diplomas.

The University of Everest is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. Graduate and Undergraduate programs are approved by:

• Florida State Approving Agency for Veterans Training
